Advanced Practice Provider Gynecology Fellowship | Arizona Gynecology Consultants
The Arizona Gynecology Consultants Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship is a 6-month, structured training program designed for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants seeking specialized experience in gynecology. Fellows receive hands-on clinical training, dedicated preceptorship, and progressive patient care experience designed to strengthen clinical knowledge, procedural skills, and confidence in gynecologic practice.
About the APP Fellowship Program
Our fellowship provides a structured transition into gynecologic practice through individualized, competency-based training. Fellows work closely with experienced APP preceptors while developing the clinical reasoning, patient care, and procedural skills needed to manage a broad range of gynecologic conditions. Training begins with observation and guided learning and progressively advances to supervised patient care and increased patient volume as competencies are demonstrated. Each fellow’s progress is evaluated throughout the program to identify areas for continued development and determine readiness for independent practice.

Arizona Gynecology Consultants accepts fellowship applications throughout the year based on upcoming cohort and preceptor availability. We welcome applications from new graduate and early-career Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants interested in developing specialized skills in gynecology. Candidates may apply prior to graduation; however, applicable board certification and Arizona licensure requirements must be completed before beginning the fellowship.
