Dr. Alexandra Kidd

Education:

Dr. Alexandra Kidd is a proud graduate of the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.  She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, San Diego.  Dr. Kidd earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Politics and Women’s Studies at the University of California at Santa Cruz.  She earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health Policy and Administration at the University of California, Berkeley.  Dr. Kidd is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology; she is also the Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Honor Health.

Dr. Alexandra Kidd performs laparoscopic & robotic hysterectomy, myomectomy (fibroid removal), and surgical evaluation of pelvic pain, endometriosis, and abnormal bleeding; as well as endometrial ablation to stop heavy periods.  Dr. Kidd also specialize in menopause management.

Prior to medical school, Dr. Kidd worked in Women’s Health and HIV prevention in California and India.  In 2004, Dr. Kidd moved to Arizona to provide OB-Gyn care to Native American Women.  She traveled to reservations and worked at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center for seven years.  Dr. Kidd continues to serve Native American Women on weekends at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center.
