Education:
Dr. Dana McKee is a board-certified gynecologist with advanced surgical training, completing a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Her clinical and research interests include the medical and surgical management of complex benign gynecologic diseases including pelvic pain, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, and adnexal masses. In addition to several published articles and videos in her field, she enjoys educational involvement for residents and medical students.
Dr. McKee is originally from Texas but has spent significant time in Arizona for her education. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona studying physiology and biochemistry. She then spent 2 years teaching high school biology in Los Angeles, CA through Teach For America. Her ongoing interests in medicine and healthcare led her to return to Arizona for medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson where she graduated with AOA status. Dr. McKee completed her OB/GYN residency training at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC before returning to Arizona for fellowship.
In her spare time, Dr. McKee enjoys spending time with her husband and their lovable Jack Russell terrier, hiking, mountain biking, boating, and winter ski trips.
