Dr. Thi Tran is a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery fellowship trained physician. She is originally from San Clemente, CA and completed her undergraduate studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a major in mechanical engineering. After taking a medical device class, she decided to pursue medicine at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. She completed a 4- year OB/GYN residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network. She then went on to complete a 2- year Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery fellowship at Banner University Medical Center – Phoenix.

She has a specific interest in complex gynecological conditions including fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, and uterine anomalies. Her training allows her to approach problems conservatively and with surgical management including robotic, laparoscopic, vaginal, and hysteroscopic surgeries.

She is actively involved in the AAGL (American Association for Gynecology Laparoscopy) where she has presented papers and videos at the annual convention.

She is fluent in English and Vietnamese.

Outside of work, she enjoys trying new food, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
